This course will provide students with an understanding of product development strategies and operations in an integrative manner. Product development strategizing process is a complex activity that requires planning, developing and managing multiple products/services overtime. This course will emphasis the best practices within the field by addressing topics such as product strategy through the product lifecycle, how to deal with changing competitive dynamics over the product lifecycle and also portfolio planning. In short, this course draws on management, marketing and organizational tools and theory to address important challenges faced by organizations.

(Kursus ini akan memberi para pelajar pemahaman operasi dan strategi pembangunan produk dalam cara yang integratif.Proses pembangunan produk adalah proses kompleks yang memerlukan perancangan, pembangunan dan mengurus pelbagai produk dalam sesuatu tempoh masa. Kursus ini akan menitik beratkan cara-cara terbaik dengan membincangkan topik-topik seperti strategi produk menerusi kitaran hidup produk, bagaimana untuk menangani persaingan dinamik yang berubah pada kitaran hidup produk, dan perancangan portfolio.Secara amnya, kursus ini fokus kepada pengurusan, pemasaran dan alat-alat organisasi dan teori untuk membantu organisasi menghadapi cabaran-cabaran yang penting.)
