Computer graphics is concerned with producing images and animations (or sequences of images) using a computer. The focus of this course will be on how the computer graphics systems are constructed, and the underlying mathematics and algorithms needed in the construction of these systems. The topics include introduction to OpenGL programming, geometric object and transformation, 3D objects modeling, interaction and manipulation techniques, lighting, shading and ray tracing to the students.

(Grafik komputer merupakan satu bidang kajian bagaimana imej dan animasi grafik dijana dengan menggunakan komputer. Kursus ini memberi penekanan bagaimana ilmu matematik dan algoritma tertentu digunakan untuk membina sistem grafik komputer. Topik yang akan dibincangkan adalah pengenalan kepada bahasa pengaturcaraan grafik OpenGL, tranformasi dan geometrik objek, pemodelan objek 3D, penjelmaan dan kaedah interaktif, pencahayaan dan lakaran permukaan objek turut didedahkan kepada pelajar.)
