This course introduces fundamental concepts, algorithms and applications of digital signal processing. Topics include sampling and reconstruction, discrete-time signals and linear time-invariant systems, the discrete-time Fourier Transform, Fast Fourier Transform and z-transform. The course also discusses the time and frequency domain techniques for designing and applying infinite impulse response (IIR) and finite impulse response (FIR) digital filters

(Kursus ini memperkenalkan konsep asas, algoritma dan penggunaan pemprosesan isyarat digital. Topik merangkumi persampelan, pembinaan semula, isyarat digital, sistem linear tidak berubah masa, Perubahan Fourier masa diskret, Perubahan Fourier Pantas dan Perubahan z. Kursus ini juga membincangkan teknik domain masa dan frekuensi untuk merekabentuk dan penggunaan tindakbalas impuls tidak terhingga dan tindakbalas impuls terhingga)
