SYNOPSIS

This course introduces basic concepts, laws and theorems for direct current (dc) and alternating current (ac) circuits containing resistors, inductors, capacitors, and both independent and dependent electrical sources. Topics include basic laws, methods of circuit analysis,Thevenin?s and Norton?s theorems, and sinusoidal steady-stateanalysis. The course also discusses advanced circuit analysis techniques with a wide variety of inputs and responses with the application of Laplace transform and two-port parameters.
