SYNOPSIS

This course introduces microwave and antenna design principles associated with microwave components and circuits. Topics include microwave fields, transmission line theories, microwave networking analysis, antenna parameter and designs, and antenna fabrication and measurement. The use of computer aided design(CAD) simulation tools will allow the students to verify results of the design oriented problems, giving immediate feedback.The students will also be exposed to latest developments in modern microwave and antenna technology

(Kursus ini memperkenalkan prinsip merekabentuk gelombang mikro dan antenna yang berhubungan dengan komponen gelombang mikro dan litar. Topik termasuk bidang gelombang mikro, teori talian penghantaran, analisa rangkaian gelombang mikro, parameter dan rekabentuk antenna, dan fabrikasi dan pengukuran antenna. Penggunaan peralatan simulasi rekabentuk bantuan komputer (CAD) akan membenarkan pelajar untuk mengesahkan keputusan permasalahan berorientasikan rekabentuk, memberikan maklumbalas segera. Pelajar jugaakan didedahkan kepada perkembangan terkini di dalam teknologi gelombang mikro dan antenna)
