SYNOPSIS

The course is designed to introduce the students to advertising and marketing foundations. We will discuss the elements of advertising and marketing such as the consumer audience,segmentation and positioning, and strategy. Print, broadcast, and alternative media are also analyzed. The course also includes creative processes for advertisements, integrated marketing communication elements, as well as social issues, ethics,regulation, and responsibility.

(Kursus ini direkabentuk untuk memperkenalkan pelajar kepada asas periklanan dan pemasaran. Elemen periklanan dan pemasaran seperti konsumer, segmentasi, perletakan dan strategi akan dibincangkan. Media cetak, penyiaran dan alternatif turut dikaji. Kursus ini juga merangkumi proses kreatif dalam iklan, elemen komunikasi pemasaran, isu sosial, etika,peraturan dan tanggungjawab.)
