Tun Ahmad Zaidi (TAZ) College is the first college was built on the site of the permanent campus (west campus) and officially opened on 1 November 1999. The original name of this college is Sebayor College before being converted to Kenyalang College in 2001. In 2002, the college's name changed again to Tun Ahmad Zaidi College named after former Speaker of the State with the construction cost is the contribution from the State Government.

TAZ college consist two residential blocks (4th floor) apartment concept that can accommodate up to 520 students. Block A accommodate female students and Block B male students.
